*Please note that during field trips away from base camp, children must bring a cold lunch from home, free of peanuts and nuts, in a lunch box/bag with an icepack. Due to issues related to food allergies, peanuts, nuts, and all their derivatives are forbidden at day camp. If such foods are found in lunch boxes/bags, they will be confiscated and put in a secure location.
All children will receive one camp t-shirt for the summer. We will give out t-shirts to children the first week of camp. For security purposes, your child must wear the t-shirt during outings. Any child not wearing their t-shirt on a field trip day will be given one, but will have to return it at the end of the day.
At the beginning of the week, with a monitor in the pool for safety, the life guard will give a swimming test. If your child passes, they will be on a list and given a green bracelet (shared responsibility between camp and life guards). If not, your child will have to wear a life jacket and be in the presence of a monitor at all times.
