All summer long, your kids will be to explore all the aspects of the planet that they live on. They will discover and learn eight aspects that constitute the plane earth. Each week, group leaders will transport children to a wonderful world where everything is designed to motivate learning, discovery, and exploration.
Divided by age groups (5-7, 8-9, and 10-12 year-olds), your kids will change group leader* each week. Activities are adapted to the specific age group needs. Group leaders divide their schedule to include artistic, sociocultural and knowledge acquiring activities. They will be offered group activities to encourage team work as well as individual skills. Arts and crafts and drawing will focus on their creative side. Cooperative games will develop their social and collaborative skills. Weather permitting, some pool time is scheduled daily.
On top of all that, a field trip, as well as rallies and shared activities are planned each week.

Loisirs Laurendeau-Dunton Day Camp believes every child has a right to have fun! For this reason, this year, we are pleased to welcome a limited number of children with special needs (ADHD, Asperger’s syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, etc.). An individual approach or small groups will be offered with devoted camp leaders who are trained to cater to this clientele.
A partnership with AlterGo, an organization that promotes universal accessibility, has made this adventure possible! Their support and expertise with this clientele will ensure proper guidance of camp leaders as well as the children.
