Officially recognized by the borough of LaSalle, Loisirs Laurendeau-Dunton is a non-profit organization that has been providing recreational activities to the LaSalle community for more than a decade. At the beginning, the founders wanted to create fun activities to meet the needs of the neighbourhood’s youth. Over the years, the centre has extended its roots throughout the south west of Montreal and has greatly diversified its offering to the community with interesting and varied cultural, artistic and sporting activities. This makes the Laurendeau-Dunton recreational center a place that has been and still is very much on demand.

Various activities

Activities for all A range of activities is offered year after year. Sports, educational or cultural, they are drafted with the intention to generate wonderful memories to participants and to offer each of them a variety of memorable experiences.

Trained staff

Our quality standards and practices reflects the level of experience of our staff. Criminal background checks are performed for all new team leaders and supervisors. In addition, training is offered by the team in place. Trainors 18 years of age or older with the exception of interns hired at 17.

Safe environment

Participants are supervised by a team of counsellors specialized in camp animation and certified with first aid courses. The animation team is supervised and supported by a coordinator responsible for health care. Supervision and animation are consistently exceeding standards set by the Quebec Camps Association. A safe and entertaining environment is our focus.

Mission

The mission of the Laurendeau-Dunton Loisirs is to offer its community, a leisure center and day camp offering various programs and services for youth and families of the area.
